Salerano sul Lambro (Lodi), Italy, June 10, 2026 – In the year marking the 80th anniversary of its foundation, Sipcam Oxon, the Italian multinational company operating in the agricultural inputs sector and headquartered in Pero (Milan), today officially launched Freedom, an original technology platform developed by the Group’s Research & Development and Engineering teams. This investment project also takes tangible form in a new production facility built at the company’s industrial site in Salerano sul Lambro (Lodi).
The new technology serves as the foundation for an innovative category of agricultural biostimulants: increasingly important solutions designed to help farmers achieve their planned production targets while contributing to the mitigation of seasonal and climatic stress factors.
Freedom is the result of a journey driven by scientific collaboration, innovation and industrial investment, led by Sofbey, the Group company specializing in biostimulants and biosolutions. Designed to support crop physiology and enhance plant responses to environmental stress, the technology is based on the identification of a novel bioactive complex, which is currently the subject of a patent application.
“This project represents a long-term industrial and scientific investment,” commented Paolo Brogi, CEO of Sipcam Oxon. “Agriculture increasingly requires technologies capable of improving efficiency, resilience and environmental stress management, with a view to supporting production and commercial development on an international scale.”
“Freedom holds particularly significant value,” stated Nadia Gagliardini, President of Sipcam Oxon, “as it brings together industrial vision, expertise developed over time and a strong connection with the Lombardy region. In an increasingly consolidated and competitive industry, we continue to believe in the ability of an independent group such as ours to invest in innovation while maintaining strong industrial roots in Italy.”
